1. Who we are

This website is operated by Site for Rent (“we,” “us,” “our”), an Ontario-based business that publishes local service information and connects visitors with a local service provider.

We act as the organization responsible for personal information collected through this site and related call-tracking tools (PIPEDA-aware controller framing). When we share your inquiry with the current exclusive local provider under agreement (the “renter”), that provider may also handle your information to respond to your request.

2. What personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact / quote forms — name, phone, email, city/postal, service requested, message (contact form live on production)
  • Phone calls — calling number, call time/duration, routing metadata, call recording (see §4), voicemail if left
  • Cookies & analytics — IP (often truncated), device/browser, pages viewed, referral — when GA4/GSC are connected
  • Server / hosting logs — IP, timestamps, request URLs

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, SIN) through standard service inquiry forms.

3. Why we collect it

  1. Respond to your service inquiry and connect you with a local provider
  2. Route and measure phone/form leads
  3. Record calls for quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and lead verification (default ON — see §4)
  4. Operate, secure, and improve the website
  5. Comply with law and enforce agreements
  6. Marketing only if you separately opt in (no pre-checked boxes)

We do not sell personal information as a consumer data commodity.

4. Call recording (CallRail) — default ON

Policy: Call recording via CallRail is enabled by default on tracking numbers used on this site.

When you call a tracking number displayed on this website, your call may be recorded. Notice is given via on-page disclaimer, CallRail whisper/IVR when configured, and this Privacy Policy.

If you do not want your call recorded, do not use the tracking numbers on this site. Contact us at privacy@peterboroughcarpetcleaning.ca or use a contact form and request non-phone follow-up where practical.

Ontario / Canada note (not legal advice): Ontario is generally treated as a one-party consent jurisdiction for call recording under criminal-law framing, but transparency and PIPEDA-aware notice remain our operational standard. Lawyer review required.

5. Sharing with the exclusive local renter

While a local service business is the current exclusive renter for this site’s leads, we may share your inquiry details with that renter so they can contact you and provide the service. Sharing is limited to lead fulfillment and related quality/dispute needs.

Subject to PIPEDA and applicable exceptions, you may request access, correction, information about our practices, withdrawal of optional marketing consent, or deletion where appropriate.
